President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden arrived in Atlanta to attend the memorial service for former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, wife of former President Jimmy Carter, who served in office from 1977 to 1981. Mrs. Carter died on November 19 at home in Plains, Georgia, at 96.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan released a statement today on the airlift of critical humanitarian supplies to Egypt to support aid delivery in Gaza. The United States airlifted over 54,000 pounds of medical items and food aid to the humanitarian logistics hub in Egypt for delivery to civilians in Gaza. This was the first of three planned deliveries in the coming days.

On Monday, senior Biden-Harris Administration officials met with suppliers to discuss the manufacturing, distribution, and accessibility of RSV immunizations through the private market. Senior administration officials underscored the importance of manufacturers such as Sanofi and AstraZeneca working to meet demand with a sense of urgency as we head into the winter season. A press gaggle was held aboard Air Force One en route to Denver, CO, by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and NSC Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby. Ms. Jean-Pierre began the briefing with comments regarding the President and First Lady’s attendance at the memorial service for former First Lady Rosalynn Carter. She then gave remarks regarding the President’s agenda while in Colorado, including a tour of CS Wind, the largest wind tower manufacturer in the world. He will deliver remarks on how Bidenomics is mobilizing investments in clean energy, manufacturing, and creating good-paying jobs in communities across the country, including more than $7 billion in Colorado since he took office.
Mr. Kirby then gave an update on the situation in Israel, including the humanitarian airlift effort into Egypt and the latest round of hostage releases. Both Ms. Jean-Pierre and Mr. Kirby took questions from the press.
