President Biden gave remarks and answered questions today at a press gathering in Natucket, MA.

The president explained that hostilities in Gaza will cease for four days under a negotiated agreement. This arrangement also facilitates an extended pause for the release of over 50 hostages. Earlier in the morning of the 24th, 13 Israeli hostages were freed, including an elderly woman—a grandmother—and mothers with their young children, some of whom are under six years old.

Additionally, separate releases occurred for several Thai and Filipino nationals whom Hamas abducted on the 7th. President Biden also thanked the Emir of Qatar, President Sisi of Egypt, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel for helping secure this deal. Learn more…
